Birds & Bees

Birds & Bees is a  large flower with shades of fuchsia pink to magenta red on the outer petal edges. The petals are long having a width of 0.9-1.0 cm. Tube is white, pistil is magenta, filaments are white, anthers have bright yellow pollen. Flowers have long petals.  The original cultivar hung outside in the garden and was often visited by hummingbirds and insects, hence the choice of name.
